About

Teresa Wallace is a writer and artist from the Ozark Hills of Missouri. She has a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the College of the Ozarks and an Art Certification from Missouri State University. A former art teacher, she received the “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers” award, the nomination by a former “Who’s Who” student.

She wrote her first children’s story, The Last Thing Mama Wanted, inspired by her daughters, then promptly stuck it in the file cabinet. When she became brave, she brought that manuscript out of the file cabinet and was thrilled to see it published. The Gus book series quickly followed, along with articles for a Christian magazine.

She writes full-time now, enjoys traveling with her husband, and spending time with some pretty amazing grandchildren.
